Daniel's Story - Stop calling it Autism!

Disclaimer: This page is intended to demonstrate that we were able to eliminate Daniel's autistic symptoms by treating his immune system and other factors that were contributing to the immune system dysfunction he was suffering from. We hope this will give government agencies and pharmaceutical companies a jump start to find out the right medication(s) that can be effective and safe in every child suffering from "Autism". The treatment protocol we used with our son might not work as effective in other children as it did in my son.

Once Daniel was diagnosed with Viral Encephalopathy, hypogammaglobulinemia and Autoimmune disorders we started treating his condition as it is recommended for any adult. We started treating Daniel with the following medications below. Our main focus has been treating the source of the viral encephalopathy which is the herpes type 6 viral infection or possibly other viruses. We also have worked very hard to regulate Daniel's immune system. Our goals is that his immune system can some day fight viruses or other pathogens by itself and that it can regulate inflammation by itself. Since Daniel suffered from inflammation in his skin, brain and digestive system (food allergies) we had to put him a diet to avoid foods from causing allergic reactions. These allergic reactions could have caused more inflammation.

We have been doing this protocol since May 2008 and Daniel keeps getting healthier everyday. The brain inflammation has been significantly reduced and the Vitiligo has almost completely cured. Daniel's immune panel lab tests results are now normal after over 1 year of treatment.

2. Imunovir (immunodulator that is approved in many countries for treating a variety of viral infections)
3. Diflucan (antifungal antibiotic used to treat and prevent fungal infections in people with weak immune systems.)
4. Immunoglobulin Replacement Therapy (used to treat hypogammaglobulinemia or immunodefiency)
5. Low Casein & Gluten Diet (To reduce food allergies that can trigger the immune system)
6. Ibuprofen (NSAIDs, used to reduce inflammation caused by the viral encephalopathy)
7. Low Dose Naltrexone (used to treat autoimmune disorders and immunodeficiency)
