The purpose of this website
is to share our son Daniel’s story
and hopefully raise awareness that autism is a
medical illness that can be treated in many
children and improve their chances to live a
healthy and productive life.
We understand the medical problem that is
causing all these children to develop autistic
symptoms, but we are still seeking the right
medication that can be effective on all of them.
That medication we don't have yet and we need
the government, medical research organizations
and pharmaceutical companies to work on it 24x7
until it is found. You must be wondering why we
called this website Stop calling it Autism!
We did it because the name Autism is just a
label for a medical disease that many people
don't understand. A label that basically
tells the medical doctors that there is not much
that can be done to help the children and
families affected by this devastating diagnosis.
We want Autism to be called by its real name.
A medical illness very similar to many existing
that are recognized and can be successfully treated. Changing its name can be the most important change we can make.
It will open the minds of many people to a
medical illness that really, it is not that hard
to understand, diagnose, but very difficult to
treat with the current medications available.
This terrible medical illness is at this
point a national medical crisis and epidemic
proportions.

Our family have
gone through the same experiences as
every other family with children with
regressive autism. It is just
unexplainable how similar the stories
from all these families are, yet people
are made believe that autism is just
something that society has to accept as
just a mental disorder. Our son
has the same medical problems that
almost every single child with autism
has. These medical problems will
be explained in detail in this website.
Our son had what is called severe autism
when he was 2 1/2 years old. We
never believed what many doctors and
other experts told us about our son
diagnosis. God knows how glad we
are we didn't listen to them. I
remember the pain my wife and I went
through, the horrible feeling of not
knowing what to do to help our son.
It was extremely disappointing and
frustrating to say the least going
doctor after doctor and just listen to
them tell us there was not much we could
do to help our son get better. |

We hope this website can reach people that
really care and that can make a positive
difference in all these children and their
families. I hope Oprah and president
Barack Obama have the opportunity to visit
this website. These are two very
influential people that my wife and I deeply
admire and many people like us also do.
Today, 1 of 91 children are diagnosed
with autism in the United States. If we
don't do anything about this, I don't think this
country that we all love will be able to cover
the cost of caring for each one of these
children with autism. Each individual with autism accrues about $3.2 million in costs to society over his or her lifetime
according to the
Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine.
We have been blessed by God that He allowed us
to understand what caused Daniel to develop
autism and being able to find an effective
treatment for his medical problems. Now, 3
years later, our son is doing so much better.
I don't use the word "recovered" because my goal
is that my son can be like any other 100%
healthy child out there. I will let my
son's videos do the
talking. All the medical problems my son
had are now under control and because of this he
has started developing again and all the
autistic symptoms are gone. He only has
residual behavioral and speech problems which are
also improving at a very fast pace. My
wife and I can honestly say that we are very
proud parents, because we accomplished something
that many people told us and still say to many
other parents it is impossible.

Every single child with regressive
autism has the same medical illness that
caused our son Daniel to develop autism.
Every single child with regressive autism suffers
from
brain inflammation that leads to autism and
if it is not treated early it can lead to
permanent brain injury. The inflammation
not only occurs in these children's brains, the
inflammatory process is also found in many other
areas of their bodies. Almost every child
that suffers from autism, also suffers from
seizures, food allergies,
eczema and many other medical illnesses for
which inflammation is the root cause. I
know many of you have had heard the stories of
John Travolta and Jenny McCarthy's children.
They both suffer/ed from seizure disorders, in
Jenny's case, her son Evan
fell terribly ill with seizures just before
he was diagnosed with autism. John
Travolta's son Jett also
suffered from autism and from a seizure disorder.
Jett also suffered from
Kawasaki disease which causes inflammation
of the blood vessels. This is one example of how
these children with autism suffer from
inflammation. Furthermore, seizures which
are caused by brain inflammation have been a
very well documented as
very common in people with autism. My
son suffered from
Vitiligo which is associated with autoimmune
and inflammatory diseases. The same is
being said about Vitiligo just like autism, it
does not have a known cause of a cure.
But, the Vitiligo my son suffered from was also
cured by the same medical treatment we used to
treat his "autism". |

The government, medical research organizations
and pharmaceutical companies must get
together and work as a team and take a look at
these commonalities found in all these people
with autism. This will give them the
opportunity to be successful at finding better
diagnostic tools and treatments for these
children. We have to focus in what is
evident, we have to forget about what will not
provide a fast solution to this epidemic.
We have no time to waste, our beautiful,
powerful and successful country will be greatly
jeopardized socially and financially.
Socially, because autism destroys families and
family is the most important and fundamental
entity of this country. Financially,
because all these children will not be able to
be contribute to ensure this country has a
successful future and because it just cost too
much money to society to care for all these
people with autism..
My wife and I never believed there was no known cause
or cure for our son Daniel's autistic symptoms,
because he developed other medical problems at
exactly the same time he developed autism.
Maybe if he didn't develop these other medical
problems, especially Vitiligo, I would have
probably believed what doctors told us. I
was scared to death when my son was also
diagnosed with Vitiligo. I had an aunt
that developed Vitiligo when she was 33 years
old, her name was Lydia (Lily). Just after her
Vitiligo treatment finished she was diagnosed
with breast
cancer and 4 years later she passed away
from it at the age of 39. I remember all
the pain and suffering she and or her loved ones
went through. I remember during her
funeral, her 4 children crying standing by their
mother's funeral casket. The younger child
was 4 years old and the oldest was 13 years old at the
time. This experience was a life changing
event for me and as soon as Daniel developed
Vitiligo I knew if I didn't do everything in
power my son could end up as my beloved aunt
Lily. My aunt's death, watching my son suffer
and the need to
understand what doctors and experts couldn't, is
what has motivated me for the past 3 years and
will for many years to come.
These experiences and the clues that God
has been giving us all along are what helped us
understand my son's medical problems. By doing
researching, listening at parents stories and
their children's medical I have learned and I am
100% certain that every child with regressive autism have
other medical problems. All this medical
problems are related to immune
system dysfunction and different kinds of
infections. I will explain all these in
easy to understand terms in this website.
We have
been very lucky to say the least, we believe in
God and He has given us many signs that has
helped us put all the pieces together to
understand Daniel's medical problems. Once
we started understanding Daniel's medical
problems we were able to start looking for
treatments that made the most common sense and had high
probability to get him better.
